I really like this post of your on Holding The Truth In Love However, 1 Thessalonians 5: 23 tells us clearly that our spirit and soul are two distinct parts. Oh how we need to touch Him moment by moment with our spirit! The two are still distinct, yet they become one. It is a great blessing to know our spirit and to discern the spirit from the soul. I'm the writer behind Holding to Truth in Love, and I love the Lord Jesus and His life-giving Word. Bottom line it seems to me that the flesh and soul perish and our spirit goes on into eternity at death.
